My training philosophy is a blend of old school ways and more advanced techniques I’ve experimented with over the years. My primary focus is always mind to muscle connection. Preforming each exercise slow and controlled keeping constant tension on the muscle. If you don’t FEEL the muscle working they is no way you are getting maximum muscle fiber recruitment. Once this has been established then I like to incorporate techniques such as supersets, drop sets, rest pauses & banded movements. These allow to dramatically increase the intensity of the workout with increasing the work load. And yes there is a time and a place for pure heavy training but not at the expense of form.
